Racer X bodystyling was formed by a group of enthusiasts as a team to build custom cars for
competition use. Headed by Reuben Zammit as the main source for design and modelling,
the group consisted of modellers, metal fabricators, engineers and mechanics. In 2004 the
first Extreme vehicle was born to compete in the Extreme class of the XLR-8 competition.
This vehicle was a 1991 Honda Crx with a custom made wide body kit, custom lights, lambo
doors and 18 inch wheels.
The Racer X CRX won the Extreme class judged by Max Power Magazine in 2004, making the
Racer X team known locally as a pioneer in styling and bringing new levels of finishing to the
custom car scene.
